Since 2010 TST Flaw Detection Technology Co. Ltd has specialised in designing, manufacturing & marketing flaw detection testers for wire ropes & steel cord conveyor belts.
Their mission is to continually develop flaw detection solutions for the safest wire rope operation & the most cost-effective business outcome for wire rope users. We are proud to be representing TST Flaw Detection via our group of Viper Wire Rope Lubricator distributors around the world. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic we have still completed our own online training with the TST team in China as well as the product & application training for our distributor teams in Canada & Chile.
In particular we are focussing on their TST Portable Wire Rope Tester – it was developed on the basis of magnetic inductive sensing technology and MFL (magnetic flux leakage) wire rope inspection technique. The system can be applied for the portable inspection of steel wire ropes and steel pipes – identifying physical damage or material deterioration such as broken wires, abrasion, structural deformation, corrosion, fatigue etc. The tester is used for the inspection of wire ropes on mine hoisters, cranes, elevators, cableways, power grids, suspended bridges, and and drilling platforms.
